In line with the latest English Government update, stores at York Designer Outlet remain open. However, all dine-in restaurants and the Food Quarter seating area will close from Thursday 31st December, with some eateries choosing to offer take-away and delivery services.
The wellbeing of our customers, brand partners and employees remains of the upmost importance to us. Our centre has attained the Bureau Veritas SafeGuard Covid-19 certification, which is based on the actions we have taken to manage and reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, in accordance with current good practice, in line with local and national guidelines. We encourage you to refer to the Government’s guidance on local travel restrictions when planning your visit.

The seasonal celebrations continue in our cafés and restaurants, which are full of the flavours of Christmas this time of year. Indulge in the likes of buttery mince pies, turkey and cranberry toasties, and steaming hot chocolates laced with gingerbread syrup. Pull up a chair (and a cracker) with the ones you love and give your stomach the gift of breakfast, lunch or dinner with a favourite from our seasonal specials.
To make this Christmas all the more comfortable, you’ll find enhanced health & safety measures throughout our centre. Our Guest Service team will also be on hand to help in any way they can, so you can relax, enjoy your visit and embrace the festive spirit.

Your safety and welfare this Christmas are of the upmost importance. That’s why we have increased cleaning in public areas and become SafeGuard Covid-19 accredited. Government guidelines remain in place so remember to wash your hands regularly, follow social distancing rules and wear a face covering in stores.
We recommend that you use our time table to plan your visit for quieter periods.

Green:
The Centre is expected to be quiet. There might be waiting lines at some of our popular brands. Access into the Centre via all entrances.
Amber:
The centre is moderately busy; wait times to access the Centre could be up to 20 minutes from late morning to early afternoon. It is expected that there are queues at some of our brands. Access into the Centre via North & South entrances only.
Red:
Today we expect a large number of guests wanting to visit us. Please allow enough time for your visit as wait times to access the Centre could be up to 40 minutes from mid morning to late afternoon. It is expected that there are queues at some of our brands. Access into the Centre via North & South entrances only.
