McArthurGlen partners with Nike for second year running to encourage kids to get active

McArthurGlen, Europe’s leading designer outlets company, has teamed up with Nike to stage a series of inspirational ‘Young Athletes Activation’ events for children. Designed to encourage youngsters aged 5-12 to enjoy an active lifestyle, the events are taking place at eight McArthurGlen designer outlets in seven countries - Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK.
The four-day event which are taking place between 4 – 7 August and 25 – 28 August will consist of a fun and challenging pop-up trial zone. Each event offers children the chance to be assessed by professional trainers for flexibility, endurance and running skills and then participate in a selection of mini-classes in running, street dance and body workout. Upon completing the classes, kids receive an official diploma and a goody bag.
Nike, which retails in a total of 20 McArthurGlen outlets throughout Europe and Canada with its Nike Factory Stores, will be provide their Flex trainers for the kids to test at the trial zone.
