Colour takes a starring role in men’s denim for AW21 as the skinny styles abandoned last season continue to sit on the side lines.
In an echo of AW20, autumn/winter 21 is seeing denim for him take on a laid-back aesthetic with regular cuts continuing to win out over previously favoured super-tight skinnies. Welcome news (no doubt) to anyone who’s embraced the working-from-home wardrobe of joggers and altheisurewear, and is feeling unenthusiastic about swapping stretch for structure.
Opt for A-line or slightly flared jeans in light blue hues from the likes of Levi's and Calvin Klein, staying clear of black and grey, which are out for him this season.
Double denim is back for AW21 but this time coordination is key so stick to matching tones and avoid light and dark pairings. A denim jacket (a key transitional item) lends itself brilliantly to this look, while styles with a shearling collar tie-in with the American Western trend pulling through for men this season. You may have to shop around to find the perfect match but the array of styles offered at 7forallmankind is sure to see you right.
