Susie McCabe appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer at McArthurGlen Group

LONDON, 12th September 2018 – McArthurGlen Group, Europe’s leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlet villages, today announced the appointment of Susie McCabe as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. 

McCabe joins McArthurGlen from Under Armour Inc where she was Senior Vice President of Global Retail for the past four years, creating and implementing all aspects of the group’s worldwide retail strategy. Prior to that, she spent 16 years with Ralph Lauren Corporation in a number of senior positions in both Ralph Lauren’s full price and outlet businesses.

In her new role, McCabe reports jointly to McArthurGlen Chairman, J. W. (Joey) Kaempfer, and CEO, Julia Calabrese.

During McCabe’s time at Under Armour she oversaw store openings in 30 new countries, more than doubling the group’s global retaiI revenues. While she was with Polo Ralph Lauren, she held a number of senior roles including President of Factory Store Concepts where she led the strategic direction and operation of the brand's outlet stores across the US and Europe.

In 2015, McCabe was named one of ‘Total Retail’s’ Top 25 Women in Retail.  She chaired Ralph Lauren Corporation’s Retail Diversity Council for nine years and served on the Board of Directors of YWCA, the women’s support and development charity, for six.  She has a degree in English from Princeton University.

McCabe is married to Tom McCabe, a historian and writer, who is currently working on his first documentary film. He is also a Princeton graduate. Susie and Tom have two children.
