SPORTS LUXE REVIVAL

Sporty meets sophisticated.

SS25 sees athletic-inspired looks taking a bold leap forward. If the runways are anything to go by, then fit is the new rich. While we are raising our collective pulses in the gym, luxury brands are raising the pulse on athleisure, which has a more refined and understated appeal this season. Brands such as Lacoste and American Vintage have been inspired by retro sportswear, with sleek joggers and minimalist track tops blurring the lines between performance and polish. What we love about this trend is its versatility, and the way you can shake it up by clashing it with smarter pieces. Pair sleek leggings by Adidas with an oversized blazer, or wear a pleated tennis skirt with a cropped knit to strike the perfect balance between casual and cute. Don’t forget the all-important oversized tote to carry off your kit in consummate style.

POWER CASUAL

Workwear gets a stylish refresh.

Say goodbye to stiff tailoring and boring uniformity - SS25 is all about effortless workwear that demands respect. Now that flexible working has taken root, a trip to the office has become an event so why not make a statement?! The strong shoulders have gone, in favour of a much more relaxed silhouette. Think neutral-tone wide-leg trousers in breezy cotton or linen by the likes of Pepe Jeans and Dockres, paired with a minimalist white shirt by Maje, or a pleated A-line skirt worn with a white vest and softly tailored blazer. Chic co-ords in business-appropriate pinstripes are another great addition that will take you from the boardroom to the bar. Close the deal with pared-back black accessories such as strappy sandals or a sleek leather bag by Furla to create punchy contrast in the look.

GOLDEN HOUR

Warm hues steal the spotlight.

Our favourite palette of SS25 takes its cues from nature’s daily sign-off. Inspired by the colours of the sunset, luxury brands really leaned into the rich tones of burnt orange, terracotta, amber, and a multitude of soft yellows this season. Rather than combining the colours, pick a tone and block out your look with it to maximise its impact. Dresses are the way to radiate the trend, with mini shirt dresses by Intrend and flowy maxi dresses by Claudie Pierlot being two confidently feminine ways to wear it. For look-at-me impact, red and orange accessories provide the most bang for the buck, creating a strong tonal aesthetic. A bold leather tote by Coach or a pair of strappy sandals by Clarks will underline your radiance perfectly.

BLOOM BLOOM

Have a spring fling with florals.

When it comes to fashion, florals are perennially in bloom. In previous seasons, the dominant bouquets have been primarily bold and vibrant, but for SS25, the floral palette is much softer, with pale yellows and peachy pinks contributing to a delicate and feminine aesthetic. The trend for co-ords continues unabated, with punchy two-piece flower parties by the likes of American Vintage setting the tone perfectly. Elsewhere, long-line maxi dresses replete with intricate floral patterns are a stunning way to jump into the trend. Keep your accessories neutral to avoid any pattern clashing - a pastel tone handbag by HOFF or a pair of flower-embellished heels will nicely reinforce your petal power.
