28 März 2023
LONDON, 28 MARCH 2023 – Europe’s leading owner, developer and manager of designer outlets, McArthurGlen Group, has named the first collection of brands that will open at its visionary €200 million shopping destination, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny. Confirmed to open on Thursday 27 April 2023, Paris-Giverny will be the Group’s fourth centre in France.
Stella McCartney, Tod’s, Missoni and Emilio Pucci are among the sought-after luxury names joining the project, with favourite international premium brands including Adidas, Lacoste, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld, alongside French label Vanessa Bruno.
The Group is also proud to welcome the first outlet location in the French market for the iconic women’s lingerie brand, Victoria’s Secret, as well as a L’Oréal store that boasts 26 of the cosmetic giant’s coveted luxury beauty brands.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny has been thoughtfully curated to give discerning guests the opportunity to shop the world’s favourite brands, as well as the chance to experience the very best of the local region. When it opens next month, the centre will offer visitors a complete day-out experience, which includes a varied mix of restaurant and food and beverage options.
Les Hortensias, a brasserie conceived in collaboration with Parisian restaurateur, Romain Taieb, is set to open in the summer, with its name a nod to the hydrangea flower commonly found in Normandy. Serving locally sourced products, the restaurant will introduce guests to the culinary delights of the region.
In addition to Les Hortensias will be the globally recognised luxury Parisian establishments Ladurée and Angelina, famous for their delicate macarons and iconic hot chocolate respectively. For guests looking to treat themselves further, French gelato brand Amorino and an elegant champagne bar will offer the perfect places to pause and relax while shopping, and the popular American burger chain Five Guys will cater to customers craving a quick bite between visiting their favourite stores.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will become home to 100 stores spanning more than 20,000 sqm of contemporary retail space, bringing 700 new jobs to the local area.
As part of its focus on regional excellence, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will shine a light on the history of craftmanship in Normandy with a dedicated Artisan’s village, the Maison des Métiers d’Art. This new concept for McArthurGlen was developed in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (The CCI) and the Chamber of Crafts and Artisanship of the Eure (The CMA), with the space conceived by world-renowned multi-disciplinary designer, Mathieu Lehanneur. The Maison des Métiers d’Art will enable the Group to support local talent and nurture regional knowledge and skills, featuring 130 artisans when it opens, of which the majority are from the Normandy region.
Nick Brady, Group Managing Director, Leasing at McArthurGlen Group, said: “We are proud of the exciting mix of brands that are set to join Paris-Giverny in April. It was important to us when leasing this project that we offer our guests an extraordinary day-out experience. We have partnered with the leading fashion, lifestyle and food brands that have become synonymous with McArthurGlen designer outlets, while at the same time seeking to reflect the local region and celebrate Norman craftsmanship.”
